When I was but a youth looking for my very own kids batman costume, I was always trying to find ways to dress up as my favorite superhero.  The problem was, there were scant few costume stores around and the web was just a distant unknown.  My family and I still found ways to go looking like “part” of our superhero (that we read in DC Comics) with home-made costumes that, looking back now, were not bad for the time.  Supplies to make them but obviously still nothing like what BuyCostumes.com offers today.  That is why I started this website.  My family is enjoying different costumes each year and the little ones love that they can use their imagination (and allowance money! ) to get pretty much any costume that they want.  I am impressed with their resourcefulness and I am always curious to see what they will pick.  This year is a big year for Spiderman, Wolverine and Batman.  I will be taking pictures to put on the site as they get them and wear them.
